Composed of the $avemoney artist's Joey Purp and Kami, the Leather Corduroys are an independent dynamic duo, who are slowly on their rise to being international stars. They recently released a project by the name of "Season", towards the beginning of the year which infuses a variety of funk, pop, and hip hop music, under sly rhymes and punchlines. Their album "Season" can be streamed from a variety of different blog sites or you can simply follow them on Soundcloud, by searching the name "Leather Corduroys". They possess an ingenuity that haven't been seen by a hip-hop group in a long time, almost giving off an old-school vibe and feel with their music that the industy has been missing in recent years. Their sound is something which you probably have never heard before, but you have been searching for, it almost can be called Trap-Funk, as they are very original with their production choices. Also they have worked with a lot of prominent Chicago artist such as "Chance The Rapper", who is featured on their "Season" project and they have been featured in Complex and many other blog sites. Last year the duo released a mix-tape by the name of "Porno Music Volume II", that you should check out as well. Also they are not looking to sign any deals and are aspiring voices in the battle of being successful independent artist, which is revolutionary in a way especially to the rap game.
